About the Author

Lauren Lang is a former broadcast journalist and current fiction writer, freelance photographer, videographer, and owner of Jacobin Photography, a Denver, CO-based small business that specializes in professional headshots.  In her spare time, she crochets hats for stuffed animals, gardens with the intent of taking pictures of the flowers if they live, and terrorizes wildlife and residents alike while chasing birds through area parks.
